Game 2 of 3: Angles 2 vs. Twins 4 FINAL

Game Time: 2:26 Attendance: 31,576
WP: Radke (2-3); LP: Escobar (0-1); SV: Nathan (8)

PROPS TO:

*Brad Radke First thing first, Radke got through the first inning without giving up a home run, let along a run. Gave up a few hits but was able to get through it. Ended up being the Brad Radke I think all Twins fans know he can be every start out going 7 1/3 IP, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 SO, 0 HR. Radke still has 1 walk on the season! Wow!

*Justin Morneau First inning home run for Morneau to give the Twins a two run lead. Instead of giving up a home run and runs in the first the Twins get two, I think Radke has a new friend! This was a shot too, upper deck. Also tripled to the gap, did not score but tripled.

*Joe Mauer Went 2-3 and drove in a run and scored on Morneaus home run, that coming after he drew a walk.

*Lew Ford His stolen base put him in scoring position and take the double play out of the picture, he scored on a Punto homer.

*Nick Punto Two hits on the night and one being his first career triple driving in Ford. Can this guy run for what? Wow!

*Orlando Cabrera Despite going 0-4 at the plate he came up with some very nice plays that it was just amazing to have gotten to the ball. I appreciate effort like this.

*Torii Hunter Made his typical catches in the outfield and after reaching on a base hit he stole second without a throw. Not only was it without a throw, he took off for second base, the pitcher realized he was stealing, threw it to first and Hunter checked in at second. He has become a really good bases stealer.

*Twins fans Nice attendance for the first two games!

FLOPS TO:

*Kelvim Escobar Went 7 innings and gave up 4 runs, all earned, never really got into any kind of grove and got away with some things.

*Jason Bartlett Getting picked off in the first inning at first base is a rookie mistake, so not too worried about it, just dont let it happen again. If he does not get picked off he is on second and Morneaus home run is a three run shot, might have needed that extra run.

*Torii Hunter in the 8th, checks in at 3rd but goes to far and gets picked off.

*Angles offense The Angles booth told Gladded this was going to be a different team tonight, I saw a more aggressive team in the first inning last night and no fire power tonight. Didnt bring the good bats to todays game.

*The Los Angles Angels of Anaheim What a horrible name change it back!
