Game 3 of 3: Twins 9 at Devil Rays 6 FINAL

Game Time: 2:50 Attendance: 9,519
WP: Mays (2-1); LP: Waechter (1-2); SV: Nathan (9)

PROPS TO:

* Justin Morneau - A home run short of the cycle going 4-4 with a run scored and 3 RBI and a walk. His biggest hit might have been a two run bloop single.

*Joe Mauer - 2-4 with a home run and two runs scored. Also threw out a base runner.

*Mathew LeCroy - 2-5 with a big three run home run and scored two runs. Had a key at bat where he saw 9 pitches and singled.

*Chris Singleton - Only went 1-3 but drove in 2 runs and scored a run.

*Jorge Cantu - A big three run home run in the 7th to make it a 2 run game made it a ballgame, it came after Joe Mays left the game.

*Jessie Crain - After the Devil Rays scored 5 runs in the 7th he was able to come on and get his two guys.

*Joe Nathan - Came on and got the save, his 8th of the year.

FLOPS TO:

*Devil Rays pitching (Waechter, Fossum, Baez) - All gave up runs never giving the Rays a chance to have the lead or completely come back.

*Terry Mulholland - Came in with two runners on and gave up a home run, with the Twins having 8 runs on the board it isnt a big deal, but cant do this kind of thing.
