Game 2 of 3: Twins 6 at Orioles 4 FINAL (10 innings)

Game Time: 3:18 Attendance: 22,410
WP: Crain (2-0); LP: Kline(2-2); SV: Nathan (10)

PROPS TO:

*Nick Punto - Only went 1-4 on the night but was a huge reason the Twins won the game. In the first after Stewart reached on a two base error Punto bunted him over to second, where he later scored on a base hit. In the 8th after reaching on an infield hit he stole second and advanced to third on a wild pitch, a very gutsy move and scored on a sac fly.

*Shannon Stewart - Reached on an error in the first and scored on a sac fly, also homered in the 10th to give the Twins a 6-4 lead.

*Jacque Jones - Pinch hit for Jason Bartlett in the 10th in a tied game and hit a home run to right field to give the Twins the lead.

*Brian Roberts - 2-4 with a home run and gave the Os a 4-2 lead.

*Rafael Palmeiro - Hit a home run in the 4th inning to make it 3-1.

*Jessie Crain - Pitched two innings, getting out of a big jam in the 8th, with a nice play to get the lead runner on a bunt attempt at third base.

*J.C. Romero - Also in relief of Radke pitched very well, walking two but got out of the jam.

*Joe Nathan - Struck out two and mowed down the Os in the 10th for his 10th save.

*Erik Bedard - 7 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 Ks, followed Cabreras outing with a very good one of his own. Sloppy defense behind him lead to a couple of runs and kept him from the win.

FLOPS TO:

*Orioles bullpen (Jorge Julio, B.J. Ryan, Steve Kline)- A very good bullpen lost the game after giving up the lead in the 8th and two home runs in the 10th.

*Luis Matos In the 8th with runners on first and second when he went to bunt the ball he had his hand on the bat and the ball hit his hand, forcing him to leave the game and very likely to go on the DL. If he puts that bunt down they might have a different outcome in the game.

*Orioles defense - Two errors proved to be costly on the night, keeping the Twins in the game.
