Game 2 of 3: Rangers 5 vs. Twins 0 — FINAL

Game Time: 2:07 —Attendance: 28, 624
WP: Rogers (4-2); LP: Silva (2-2)

PROPS TO:

*Kenny Rogers - After pitching a complete game shut out he has now pitched 30 innings without giving up a run, very impressive. He only struck out two but had his A game, never giving the Twins a chance.
*Carlos Silva - Was out pitched at on the 4 runs he gave up they were all singles, and ground balls, and he was ahead of batters. He could have given up 1 run and not won the game.
* Rangers offense in the 5th - Base hits got it done, 4 runs in the 5th.
*Rangers defense - turned four double plays and killed any potential rally there might have been including a great catch by Mench to end the game.
*Mathew LeCroy - Singled twice, both times leading off the inning, but no one could get him over.
*Juan Castro - Singled and doubled, getting the Twins only extra base hit.
*Baltimore Orioles - Put and end to the White Sox winning streak and kept the Twins from going 7 games down and doesn't make the series loss seem so bad.
FLOPS TO:
*Jacque Jones - Grounded into two double plays, after last nights should be error he didn't make up for it tonight.
*Louis Rivas - 0-3 on the night and shows no spark on defense, great example of why he isn’t starting at second.
*Twins offense - Showed no life.

FLOPS TO:

* Twins offense after 4th inning - Bats went silent, not doing much to keep getting runs, even with a 4-run lead.  Can’t be doing stuff like that, especially against a dangerous offense like Texas.
