Gerry Davis

In  2003 in Chicago in a key series between two teams close in the standings fighting for first in September. In a 4 game series Gerry Davis would have the opportunity to man every base out there.

In the second game of the series when he was at third base he called a ball that was foul, fair, in favor of the White Sox. The White Sox took advantage of it and won the game, they lead the four game series 2-0. He also made a safe call, again in favor of the Sox when it was an out.

In the final game of the series Davis was at first base, where he was at first he called a Twins ball that was clearly fair, foul. The Twins did manage to win the game and split the series.

It was too much, Davis earned his spot on the Blacklist.
