Prop and Flops is something done after each game. Props are given to players who helped their team win or had a good game. Flops goes to those who didn't quite live up to what they needed to, came up short or just didn't have it. Both Props and Flops are given to both the Twins and opposing team, and we try to do a fair job.

Props & Flops

Game 3 of 3: Rangers 2 vs. Twins 5 — FINAL

Game Time: 2:35 —Attendance: 27,891
WP: Radke (4-3); LP: Mahay (0-2); SV: Nathan (11)

PROPS TO:

*Shannon Stewart - 2-3 on the day with two runs scored and 4 RBI. Started the game off with a double and scored on a sac fly by Morneau. Also had a big three run home run in the 6th to give the Twins a 3 run lead. Stewart also had some very nice defensive plays to help keep the lead.

*Brad Radke - 7 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K’s. Radke stepped up and was on top of his game today allowing the Twins to win the game and stop the skid. The walk today was only his second of the year.
*Nick Punto - Started out with an infield bunt hit in the first to move Stewart over to third. Singled in the third and fifth. His small ball and aggressiveness can do nothing but help the Twins win.
*Michael Cuddyer - Went 3-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. On a sac fly from Stewart that ended up in between the mound and home plate of the visiting bullpen he tagged up and scored to give the Twins the lead.
* Kevin Mench - Hit a home run in the third to tie the game at 1.
*Mark Teixeira - Drew a walk in the 6th, only the second of the year from Radke, and scored after a base hit and fielders choice and sac fly.
*Juan Rincon and Joe Nathan - Rincon came in and struck out the side, Nathan came in and struck out two on his way to his 11th save of the year.
FLOPS TO:
*Ron Mayhay - Gave up the three run home run to Stewart, giving the Twins the lead.
*Alfonzo Soriano - After watching the entire series I realize that Soriano is a very lazy player and could be doing so much more than what he does do. On a fly ball to no mans land that was not caught he should have been at second base. But he was not running and only ended up at first, costing the Rangers a run. Also watched as Teixeira tried to catch a foul fly ball.
*Rangers offense in the first - Dellucci lead off with a double but the Rangers could not get him home.
*Jacque Jones - Looked horrible at the plate, striking out in all but one at bats, the old Jones looks to be making a come back.
