It
was about 102 degrees when we hit the Badlands so we didn't do a lot in the way
of long hikes. The Badlands are a heavily eroded area that cut the heart
out of a large grasslands. The grasslands support antelope, deer, bison,
and tourists.
On a cooler day I'd love to tour the park road on a
bicycle. Most saner people with a love of wind in their face were on
motorcycles but even they looked hot.
