Nanthrum brother of Naapi Maker-of-the-World interfered with Her perfect Creation by adding Peoples of His blood and Soul to mix with those of Her blood and Soul, as told in the Tainting The two bloods mated, and bore children, and
within these cubs the mixed blood curdled to poison their Souls. Children of this blending were savage and cruel, blood-lusting and terrible. They banded into warring gangs, then grew into one tribe called FireWater, and they robbed and raped and spilled innocent blood upon the roads of Caldrin, all in the name of their Dark God.
The City of Framoir was their citadel, a city of death, blood, and lust, but they invaded other cities as well, killing and destroying.
For seventy days they laid seige upon the fortress of Orgiria, until the elves ran mad from the constant yammering and howling at their gates, and soon even that stronghold was defiled by the blood of sacrifice upon its flagstones.
A band of Earth Peoples called Twisted Tail requested an audience with the head of FireWater, an old and crafty Lahayota called "Lah Yuudaanaann" ("The Unnamed or Unnamable") to try to parley with him. They were granted their audience, but no parley was held, for Twisted Tail was ambushed and massacred in the Great Hall of Orgiria before the throne of Lah Yuudaanaann, and their flesh was used to feed the young, blood-hungry warriors of FireWater.
When news of this sacrilege reached the ears of the World, its peoples rose up in fury. No longer would the madness of Fire be endured! And the remaining Earth races compacted with most of those of Water and the elves, and formed the League of Powers. There were seven years of bloody war, and Caldrin was ripped unsunder under battles of unspeakable and unforgettable names, until finally FireWater was defeated and the blood-lust of Fire brought under tight rein. The following generation repented the sins of their parents, and begged Naapi, Mother-of-All for forgivness.
