When the League of Powers formed, and the War begun, the peoples of the World knew that sides must be chosen and hurried to the side of whoever they thought should win. Only the Griffens were divided by these terrible moves. Some wished to remain neutral, but others supported FireWater or the League. Most Griffens, regardless of which side they supporeted, still held Naapi as the Creator-of-All, though some radicals that sided with FireWater held Nanthrum above all. So began the Wars of the BlackWing. Idea againt idea, brother against brother; a great people clashed against the rocks of discord.
Clans fell to tribes, and tribes became small family groups, wandering the winding roads Caldrin as rogues, thieves, gypsies.
Such is the price of civil wars. Let not one people turn in upon itself again, by the Hand of the Goddess.
