Hey this is FrostWyrm99, here to bring you a simple page of hatred. If you're into other stuff than this, check out my main webpage at http://www.oocities.org/frostwyrm99. That'd be great. Also, any and all e-mail shalt be directed to me at precious285@hotmail.com. Anyway, I'm a really big Atlanta Braves fan, and welcome to the home page of all the troubles for the Atlanta Braves (my favorite team) this year:

Pitcher Dan Kolb!!!!! He sucks!!!

Here you can find all the info on why Kolb should never pitch again. We're gonna post all the most recent games he's played in, all his previous games and stats from this year, and all the situations that he's been in (and failed to perform in). So strap in cuz I'm gonna get really pissed!!

UPDATE: 6-2-05: Braves 6, Nationals 8--Kolb walks 1, allows 3 hits, 4 ER, and the loss--Box--Wrap

In what is perhaps the worst set of action Kolb has had this year, he blows yet another game for Atlanta, evening up the NL East yet again with the Marlins, and leaving us precariously close to the other three opponents. Nationals were up 3-2 at the end of the 6th, but in the top of the 8th, the Braves bats got rollin' and the gloves of the Nationals could not keep up. We scored 4 runs in the eighth before the side was retired.

Bottom of the 8th Cox puts in Kolb to pitch in a "different situation" to "see how he does." So, Kolb walks his first batter, Brad Wilkerson (a fine player I should say even though he made an almost-fatal error in tonite's game). Not a big surprise from Kolb. He gets the next batter to ground into a force out at 2nd but no DP can be turned. So 1 out, runner on 1st.

Batter 3: Jose Guillen. Guillen singles into right and advances Carroll to 2nd. Then Baerga singles, and sends Carroll to score and Guillen to 3rd!! Vinny Castilla is the next National batter, and he doubles!!! Bringing in Guillen and sending Bearga to 3rd!! So Kolb has just allowed 2 runs, 3 hits, and has 2 baserunners on in just 5 opponents!!! With only 1 out!!!

Finally Cox makes the right move and sends in Kevin Gryboski to clean up. Unfortunately he gets a blown save, but he was ordered to walk Marlon Byrd, which loaded the bases. Then Gary Bennett doubles for 3 RBI, putting the Nationals up 8-6. Gryboski was subsequently pulled after his second batter, and John Foster got the last two outs without conflict.

To sum it up, Kolb blew this game horribly. He gets the loss taking him to 1-5 for the year. He was also given a hold because when he left the game the Braves were still up but he doesn't deserve it and is most definitely to blame for the Braves losing this one.

Stay tuned here, cuz later I'm gonna get past games, boxes and stats from those, an updated stat card, and a couple pics.
