He was a Weaver by occupation and also served as a Court Official. He married first Margaretha (Reference # 3085, 3181 & 3197), surname unknown. They settled at Neuenburg, Baden, Germany as early as 1667. He married second Anna Carlin in 1683 and she married second to Michael Engisch 24 January 1693. She married Johannes Thoma 18 November 1711 at Neuenburg, Baden, Germany. He was born 30 December 1685 at Neuenburg, Baden, Germany and died in 1720 or 1721 in Virginia. She married second to Wolff Michael Kaefer (aka Michael Kaifer) (Reference # 770, 794 & 798) c1721 in Virginia. He was born c1695 in the Ansbach region of Mittelfranken, Germany and died c17 November 1768 in the part of Culpeper Co. that is now Madison Co., VA. For further information see the Kaifer Family.
