Generation 2

Samuel Samson Anderson (Reference # 38) was born c1840 at Roen in the Valdres District, Norway and died 1912. He immigrated from Norway to the Decorah, Winneshiek Co., IA in 1865 and later took up a claim in Yellow Medicine Co., MN. He returned to Norway because of an Indian scare. In 1877 he returned to Decorah, IA and then settled in Yellow Medicine Co. near Montevideo, MN. He married Marit Mo (Reference # 39) c1876. She was born c1855 at Norway and died c1937 at MN. They had the following children:
  1. Emma Caroline Anderson
  2. Albert Samson Anderson
  3. Adolph Anderson
  4. Mina Anderson

Generation 3

Emma Caroline Anderson (Reference # 19) was born 15 June 1877 at Decorah, Winneshiek Co., IA and died 25 September 1960. Her husband was a Rural Mail Carrier and she was his official substitute. She married John Edward Williams (Reference # 18) 15 October 1901 at Montevideo, Chippewa Co., MN. He was born 14 June 1872 at Renville, Renville Co., MN and died 26 March 1946.
