Dove Enchante...
A young woman with a dream of freedom...

Dove's life has been one of many trials,.. many many trials. She has more scars than many young women her age. From a life of childhood, to the harsh reality of the Valley, she's endured a lot, but somehow, she always manages to keep a smile on her face and a ready hand to help some one.

She can't help her past, the fact that she was born and raised a slave, nor can she help the fact that life seems to enjoy putting her through the wringer. But she always endures, no matter what.

Dove's mother was born a free woman, but fell in love with a man she shouldn't have loved. He tricked her and sold her into slavery. She was pregnant with Dove when they came into the Master's home. He lived in a giant mansion on the edge of the town of Periiphos. Dove
was born with a natural love of music and dancing, and she often sang and danced to help pass the time when she was helping in the kitchens. On one tour of the kitchens, the Master saw her dancing, and immediately had her brough to his chambers. From then on, Dove would never see her mother or her little brother again. She was seven.

Dove was raised as a servant, completely submissive to her Master, and so, even full grown she has a tendancy to immediately submit before questioning another's orders, particularily if the other is a male with a strong commanding prescence. She was fitted with a magical collar and manacles that controlled her, and if she disobeyed, she would be submitted to unbearable pain. So she learned that once she was given an order, she followed it unconditionally. The controllers grew as she grew, and so did their magic, until she couldn't remember a time when she didn't wear them.

Dove became the Master's little pet, and thus she was spared many of the horrible abuses inflicted on the other servants in her Master's care. She was often chained by a small, magically strengthened gold chain to her Master's wrist, and even now, in her freedom, if she is tied she instinctively doesn't try to break the chain or rope, even though she could untie herself. She slept on velvet cushions at the base of her Master's bed, and having a bed to sleep in was considered a huge honor for her. She was fed on scraps that her Master gave her, and in many ways, she was treated like a pet dog, expected to do what she was there to do, dance, when she was told without questioning or arguement.

When one of her Master's arch enemies raided the villa, chaos ensued. Her Master was thrown from his ring of power in the span of a few short minutes, and Dove's life was forever changed. The magic binding her to the villa disappeared, and she escaped, out into the real world with nothing but her cape, a few possessions grabbed from her "home" and her dancing.

Dove is completely unaware that she has strong natural hypnotic powers. Even by simply humming, she can enchant even the most powerful magician with her girlish charm. She doesn't do it on purpose and has no intent to use it to anyone's advantage, its just a small fact that makes her such a wonderful dancer. The hypnotic powers are easily broken by looking away from her, something that the hypnosis itself makes seem impossible.

Dove worked at a small tavern for a while before meeting the  man of her dreams: Montgomery Kale. When she returned with Montgomery to his castle, it seemed like everything was going perfectly. Nothing could ruin her life.

Except for the return of her Master.

She left Montgomery and fled into the woods so her Master wouldn't find out about her love and possibly endanger his life too. So, once again, she was put through the hell of having to play "kitten" for her Master. Only a rescue by a mysterious woman freed her, and she found herself without manacles or collar.

However, her Master wouldn't give up. With the use of his magical grimoire, he summoned a demon and sent it after Dove, bringing her back to his manor. There she stayed, like a caged bird, until the compassion of another young slave freed her, sending her to stay with a SwanLord, under his protection.

Dove had her child there, a young baby girl with her father's eyes and her mother's hair. Dove named her Rhapsody.
