THE CHARACTERS Dot Matrix Enzo Matrix Bob Phongg Mouse Hack and Slash Hexidecimal Megabyte Frisket AndrAIa Cecil Captain Capacitor and the Crew of the Saucy Mare Various other binomes THE SETTING Time: Present Place: Inside of your computer in a system known only as MAINFRAME. Conflict: Oh the usual evil villians trying to take over the city and even in some cases to cause a system crash, which would ultimately end up with total destruction.. Throw in your dashing heroes, a little bit of comedy and a whole lotta variety (everything from Conan: The Barbarian to Star Wars and Mars Attacks! with some Sailor Moon and X-files thrown in there too.. ) BUT REMEMBER.. Ok, in Mainframe, there are these things called Games.. Games are when a User (you) activate a game on your end of the computer. It appears in the sky over the city as a glowing red/black cube that slowly descend. Once they touch the ground you can't get into them; but they can be entered if you're standing beneath them when they land. Once inside a game, a sprite or a binome has two choices. 1). Reboot and help win the Game. Why this is important will be explained. OR 2). Hide and hope you don't get nullified. In order to win a Game, the sprites inside of the game have to either a. win the game themselves or b. kill/prevent the user from winning. If they don't accomplish either of these things and the User wins, everything inside that Game in the system will be nullified, or destroyed. Binomes become glowing, slug like things called Nulls. Games can also be corrupted and/or drained which results in combined games. In a corrupted game, everything gets sucked into a little hole and destroyed, like a mini, super fast black hole. When Games' energy is drained, they might even combine which is exactly what it sounds like. A combination of the two games results. Game sprites also live in games. They are either Passive (they neither help nor hinder), Aggressive (they try and stop the User), Chaotic (they attack anything that moves), or AI, Artifical Intellegance. AIs can learn from their environment, adapt, and have their own personalities. They can be downloaded onto an icon and carried out of the Game by a normal System Sprite, as was the case with small AndrAIa being carried out on Enzo's icon. When sprites reboot, they download important information from the games into their PID (Personal Identification Device). Therefore, if you're playing a medieval game, they might Reboot and end up as a knight or even a mage, which will help them defeat the user. Also, if they don't Reboot, they can't win the Games. |
