Sailor Moon is a Japanese anime about a young girl named Usagi/Serena. She finds out from a black, talking cat with a crescent moon on her forehead that she, Usagi/Serena, is actually SAILOR MOON, the Champion of Love and Justice!   Along the way, Sailor Moon is joined by other characters such as the mysterious Tuxedo Kamen/Mask. Her teammates are revealed as being Sailor Mercury the scout of ice, Sailor Mars the Scout of fire, Sailor Jupiter the scout of lightning and the trees, and Sailor Venus, the scout of love. They are the Inner Senshi/Scouts. Also joining the team are Sailor Chibimoon/Minimoon, or Chibiusa/Reenie. Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Saturn comprise the rest of the Sailor team.     They face such evils as Queen Beryl, who was responsible for destroying the Moon Kingdom, the Dark Moon family from the future, and Sailor Galaxia, the Chaos-filled Scout of the galaxy.. But no matter what happens, the Silver Imperial Crystal continues to shine brightly, lighting the way and facing down evil!
