A Midnight Argument
The sky painted a muddy brown from the yellow street lights. A hissing wind attacks everything in site. I stood frightened amidst the swirling chaos, the tears of the moon, the breath of the earth, spinning me in a tantrum. The stars twinkling eyes now flash bright with lies and the spirit of the earth yells in anger. The argument goes on as the night grows old and the dawn of agreement approaches. The moons' spirit dies as it fades into the horizon and the wind slowly grows lighter. The sun has come and now all fears are gone, and the birds sing in the light of triumph. But everyone beware... The moon still lurks and soon he will seek his revenge.
