Epilogue : No Regrets

****Two Days Later****
"Man, you guys. We've got to do something about JC. He hasn't been the same since Angel left. He's been so down." says Justin on the bus to their next concert.
"I know, but what can we do?" says Chris.
"I'm not sure. But we've got to do something. It's depressing to see him like this. It's like the life has been sucked out of him. He is a walking corpse. He just smiles for the fans, performs for the concerts and that's it."
"Well at least he does that much." says Joey looking over to a sleeping JC.
"Yeah." replies Justin.
"You guys know it's not right to talk about your friend behind his back, right?" asks Salem from laying in Justin's lap.
"Yeah, but we're just worried." replies Justin.
****
They were talking about him again. He could hear them. They thought he was sleeping. But they were right, he hadn't been the same since Angel left. Only two days and he was like this. JC was positive, he was in love. No one else had made him hurt so much at their absence. Everywhere he looked there she was; whether it was in a crowd of fans or just some random people, he thought he saw her. Then a soft voice interrupts his thinking. JC?...It's me, Angel. Don't worry. I'm fine, just like Justin said I would be. I know how to take care of myself should the need arise. I am almost done where I am. I will be back soon with some good news for you, maybe not so much for your friends. But I know you will like it. Au revoir for now my love. It was Angel! She was fine and that thought alone comforted him.
****An Hour Later****
The guys are still on the bus almost to their next tour stop. JC decides to get up and show his 'brothers' that he is still alive. He gets up and grabs some water, then sits down to watch Chris and Joey go at it at the N64 with Justin calling that he would play the winner.
"Hey guys."
"Hey JC. Enjoy you daily nap?" asks Salem.
"Yeah. But something weird happened. Angel told me she would be back soon with some good news."
"That's good right?" asks Justin.
"I think so. I guess we just have to wait and see what the news is."
"JC? Justin? Guys? Where are you?" Comes a light voice from the front.
"Angel?" asks JC from the back of the bus.
"Yeah." Says Angel coming into view with Sabrina right behind her. Sabrina jumps on the couch and sits next to Salem.
"Where have you been? I- We were worried."
"I know, but I have some news. The Council saw what happened and though I would do more good if I hang with you guys permanently. So from now on, I'm on tour with you guys."
"Really? That's great." Exclaims JC as he grabs Angel, gives her a hug, and twirls her around keeping his arms protectively around her.
"Yeah. You should have seen JC when you weren't here. It was an awful sight." says Salem.
"You're one to talk. You were almost as bad as him." says Justin. "Salem missed you, Sabrina."
"Aw, how sweet." says Sabrina.
"So what are you going to be doing?" asks Joey curious.
"I've always been good with computers, so the Council arranged it so I work on your webpage." answers Angel.
"That is good. I'm not sure what would happen if I couldn't see you everyday."
"Me, too. JC. Me too." She says as she turns arounds leans in for a kiss.
****A Few Months Later****
"...To Have and to hold, till death do you part?" asks the minister.
"I do." says the bride.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The couple kiss before walking down the isle.
"I hate weddings. Tell me sweetie, why are we here again?" asks Angel later at the reception.
"Because Amanda is one of me and the guys' best friends." Replies JC.
"Ahhh. I still don't see why I'M here. You know the two of us never really got along."
"You are just too cute. I think you were jealous."
"Of what? I gots you and the guys. I tour with you guys across the globe, seeing the best sites. What more could a girl want?"
"I guess you're right."
"Of course I am."
"Don't be gettin' smart with me."
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?"
"This." He leans down and kisses her.
"Ok, nice. But that is more of a reward than a punishment."
"So?"
"So I have no problems with it." They walk outside hand in hand and look up at the stars.
"So no regrets about what happened with the Council?"
"Nope. No regrets." She says with a slight smile.
"Well I'm glad." They kiss as a shooting star streaks across the midnight sky.
