Softening

Have a bad quality image like this? Wanna fix it? Of course you do!:) Read below.


¤Get the image out that you want to soften in PSP.

¤Click the retouch tool(the white hand) and match you settings to mine.


¤Zoom in by 5 and slowly start to soften different sections of the face. ie the nose the cheek the eyelid.

¤Once your done you should have come up with something like this. See how much better it is? Now you're all done!

¤Eeek! We don't want this to happen do we? To avoid this mistake don't just go over the whole image with the soften tool, and don't go over the edges of the section you are softening because that will make it blend in with the background or anything around it.

Tip-Ajust the size and opacity of the paintbrush for different areas. Some areas that aren't that bad of quality don't need a high opacity.
