1973 Super Beetle (my first VW). When I bought it, it had just finished a body off restoration. The car was flawless, probably better than new. I bought this car in 1988 and wrecked it in 1997.

bought this one from a junkyard back in the early 90's, was soon to be crushed. Sold it to a couple of bus enthusiasts.
this one also came from the junkyard. Someone obviously had been trying to restore it. He had done most of the bodywork, I didn't find any new goodies in it though. This one was also close to going to the crusher when I got it. Sold it to a guy from the cable company who noticed part of it sticking out from behind my house.
I bought this Ghia from a guy that had restored it and his son wrecked it. I wound up trading this car for a 74 bus (see next pic) from another VW enthusiast. This car has been repaired and is currently on the road again.
This is the bus I traded for with the wrecked Ghia. Soon after sold it to a guy needing a work vehicle.
This is a 57 Oval project I had for a year or so. Sold it to a man who plans to professionally restore it for his grandson.
