People tell that Kobe is arrogant , he is this he is that , I think he is phenomenal, not only in what he has learnt but also from what he has done for his team...

Here are a few facts about him

 1)His father was an NBA player himself

2)His parents named him after a kind of steak found in restaurants...:)

3)He was born on the 23rd of August 1978.

4)While in school, he beat Wilt Chamberlains record for the most number of points scored. He scored aronud 2888 points to Chamberlains 2400 odd.

5)He skipped college to join the NBA in 1996.

6)He was initially picked up by the Charlotte hornets and then  traded to La-Lakers in exchange for Vladi Divac.

7)He was the youngest starting All-Star , at the age of 18 years and 5 months...beating magic Johnsons 2 odd years

8)He is the leader in his team in almost all the categories, points scored, steals..name it he is there (thats what makes him great)
