Over many years, I was just an ordinary single mum to everybody who knew of me. But truth be known, I was a Frustrated Writer!
Last year, having spent so many hours alone, trying to fulfill my dreams, I started the original Frustrated Writers Online, that used to be in the Excite Community Clubs. Now our club is within the MSN Community clubs.
Membership numbers rose steadily, as day by day, other Frustrated Writers found my club.
It was and still is, such a lovely feeling, to realise that you are not alone. That there are other writer's out there, feeling just the same as yourself!
So today, I have two clubs and two webrings bearing my mark, striving to bring more writers together.
Why you may ask, the answer is simple, because it has changed my life so much, and improved my writing skills and confidence, just by being able to share my woes with other writers.
Writing can be a very lonely hobby, where the writer can spend hours upon hours sitting alone, night after night, just like I used to. If I can bring other writers together, I will be a very happy person to know that others will be able to find writing a much more pleasureable experience! |
