O.k., no chit -chat this time (I'm a very busy girl) Just
wanted to say Enjoy! Oh, and for Ingo's benefit, gotta do
the disclaimer thing: never met him, nor been to CA,
etc.,etc., its all pure fantasy. (Well, I don't know how
"Pure" you could say it is.... Hey, I wasn't gonna do
this!LOL!)

"Awake for a dream"/ Part III
"Wow! that was a rush!" Ingo announced happily as he
leaned back in the luxurious leather seat of the limo we
were now riding in. He appeared to finally be relaxing,
and he smiled at me and said "I think the whole thing was a
great success, don't you?"
I, unfortunately, was too dumbfounded by the events of
the past few moments to do more than stare blankly at him!
My lost expression must have concerned him, because he
leaned closer to me. "Hey" he said in a very gentle
voice,"Are you o.k.?" he laid his hand on my shoulder, and
I shuddered (Oh, Great, now I have to deal with all those
tingly feelings too! I thought. Talk about CNS overload!!)
When I didn't respond, he shook me slightly and ask
again,"Hey, are you o.k.? Is something wrong? He went to
lay his hand against my cheek, and I drew away unconciously
(Hey, in my own defense, I really couldn't take much more
at that very moment. I was most definately in overdrive!!)
When I pulled away, Ingo got this very worried, sad
expression on his face. He withdrew his hand, moved back
in his seat, and spoke softly, "Look, you didn't have to
come with me now. Its not like I'm kidnapping you or
anything." He shook his head sadly, and continued,"Maybe I was wrong about
this..perhaps its a mistake..."
"No!" I shouted loudly, as his words finally stripped
away every layer of shock from my mind almost instantly.
The relief on Ingo's face was almost instantaneous at my
outburst. I gave him a silly, "how do you put up with me"
grin, and continued more quietly.
"No Ingo, you were not wrong. This is by no means a
mistake. There really is no where else on earth I would
rather be at this very moment than right here with you."
And as for kidnapping me, Baby, you can do that anytime." I sighed. I gave
Ingo a foolish grin and then continued.
"You just don't understand what it is... what the problem
is... what I mean is... Do you know WHO you are?"
Ingo stared at me with total disbelief for a brief
moment, then, taking in the intense sincerity on my face,
he threw back his head and burst out laughing! He was
laughing so hard his eyes began to water and he was holding his sides. I
just looked at him in utter disbelief.
It took him a few moments to catch his breath, and
then with the most sincere expression he could muster, he
replied,"Yes, my dear, I am fairly certain I know who I am
- it is you who I am having a hard time getting a fix on!"
That was all the control he had left, and he burst out
laughing once again.
I finally grasped the absolute and total hilarity of
the entire situation, and found myself joining Ingo in his
laugh fest. I found myself rolling around on the seat,
laughing so hard I thought I would pass out right there!
Several minutes passed before either of us could speak again. While we were
trying to catch our breathe, we just
grinned foolishly at each other as we wiped the tears from
our eyes.
"Well, I'm glad we got that settled!" chuckled Ingo.
"It is pretty silly, isn't it?" I responded. I sat
quietly for a moment gathering my thoughts, and then
continued. "You know, you have to realize that this whole
day has been like a dream for me. Actually meeting you was more than I had
ever hoped for.. And now here I am, sitting next to you, talking to you,
laughing with you, just having a fabulous time, and I just realized how real,
how NORMAL
you are!'
Ingo contemplated my words for a moment, and I thought I saw a devilish twinkle
in his eyes, but then it was gone! He got this poor, pitiful, little boy
lost expression, and then spoke out grandly, as if to noone..
"Alas, the fair maiden has already lost her great
infatuation for me. She finds me "Normal", ordinary, no
longer the extraordinary Adonis of her dreams...mores the
pity..."
At his impromptu sililoquey of dejection, I quickly
stumbled over my words to apologize."Oh! No! I didn't
mean..." Ingo just looked at me, grinned, and winked! (Oh,
but you are quite an actor, aren't you Mr. Rademacher!)
I tried to continue my statement, but Ingo just laid his
finger to my lips, silencing me,and shook his head.
"There is no need for apologies, my dear. I was only
teasing you. Sometimes maybe my humor is a little hard to
grasp." he admitted. (Hey, he said it, I didn't!). "The
truth of the matter is the fact that you do feel so
comfortable with me only confirms what I already had
suspected..."
A voice over the intercom inturrupted Ingo's thought.
"Mr. Rademacher, we'll be in the studio lot in three
minutes." Ingo pushed a button and reponded, "Thanks
Chuck, I'm on the third floor of the garage if you don't
mind. And hey, its been a wonderful ride!" He flashed me
a wicked grin with that last comment.
"Sure thing Mr. Rademacher, third floor coming up.
And, your welcome! Its been a pleasure!" with that the
intercom went quiet. I looked at Ingo questioningly.
"Oh, we're at the studio, this limo deal is really
only a shuttle service. My bike is here in the garage."
I gave him a look that said Well thanks for THAT, but
where does that leave me exactly...
Ingo looked away for a moment as if to gather his
thoughts, and when he turned back to me his blue eyes were
dancing wickedly (Do his eyes always do that when he is
being devilish?)
Don't worry," he grinned coyly,"everything is under
control. You do trust me don't you?" (No fair, you can't
ask me that when I'm lost in your eyes...) "Now, before we get out, I have
two very important questions for you.
First of all, do you believe in fate?" he asked, raising
an eyebrow and giving me this intense, "please think about
the answer carefully" kind of look.
I started to stammer, "uh...ummm...well..." and was
saved by the car door being opened. Ingo, winked and said
"Guess we'll get to that one later!"
He stepped out of the car. "What about the second
question?" I called after him.
He turned around then and held his hand out to me.
"Secondly luv (sigh, love that accent)
and more importantly," he chuckled...
"Do you ride?"
You bet I do baby!
