My Heart

It keeps getting taken-away; my bliss feels fake-in-a-way

Her guilt keeps making-her-play; her heart not aching-to-stay

It’s up to me to handle-my-pride; she probably has a man-on-the-side

Honestly speaking how can-I-deny? What solace and where so can-I-confide

It’s been some months since the shift began, and time has seen-us-for-better

The physical’s getting farther apart, so it’s harder to dream-us-together

No shoulder for my tears, and rage builds in repression

Sadness slowly turns to anger, with my pistol…aggression

Is the most dangerous feeling, now I’m a threat to your health

But on a larger scale, more of a threat to myself

Pressured I yelp, keeled over in a fetal-position

It’s as though this loss-of-love is like a heathen-remission

Weed-in-the-kitchen, no pusher just shell of a man-blind

Rocking back-and-forth, figuring the value of a mans-mind

But I gave her the leverage, to put me at loss

So all in all I’m flawed, the thing wasn’t forced.
