This letters is in response to articles about Arnold Abbott, such as "Out of site, out of luck" articles written by Jane Musgrave on February 10 and February 24 respectively, and the letters to the editor that followed on the weeks of February 17,February 24, March 3, March 10, and March 17.
Here's another letter to add to the many in defense of Arnold Abbott. In regards to his pleas for the homeless, that he be able to continue his feeding programs on the beach. He is a just man concerned about their well-being and I feel he is being unjustly treated.
Those of us who are in our safe havens forget that our unfortunate fellow human beings are with us and they always will be. It would be sinful to enforce a law prohibiting him feeding these unfortunate people. After all, none of us are exempt from unfortunate happenings.
Let's pull together and help each other and let Arnold Abbott and his wonderful organization Love Thy Neighbor continue to do their good works.
