Development of an Application Specific Processor(ASP)

Task description
A VHDL descrption of an application specific micro processor (ASP) are extended with the following additional features:
1. 8bit memory access
2. Arithmetical operations should support negative numbers (two comolement format)
3. Subprogram capability
4. An OPCODE for logical shift right operations should supprot divistion by 2.
The system has to be designed, simulated and implemented onto a XS40-board using an XC4010XL FPGA.
A program has to be developed and tested which puts 8 arbitrary 8-bits numbers which aer located in the memory in correct order and calculates the mean value of those numbers (mean calculation program)
