HISTORY
	Hi all and welcome to my page, I started in this world of ours as Allan Ronald DUNFORD on April 20 1944 ( mmmmm also a guy named'Hitler' used this date for his birthday!!!)in the city of Christchurch. Christchurch, also known as the 'garden city', is the largest city (population-wise) in the South Island of New Zealand. I lived there with my Parents (Cressy and Florence), Sister (Lois), and Brother (Keith), until 1960 when we moved south to Dunedin (the largest city in the South Island urban-area-wise). Lois, who by this time had married, stayed on in Christchurch. Dunedin is where I, along with my wife, Denise, continue to live. I have been at sea commercially fishing (crayfishing, trawling, and tuna trolling) since 1965, prior to which I completed an apprentice-ship as a letter press printer with the Otago Daily Times, who are still to date New Zealands oldest daily news paper. It was during this period that I served my time as a cook in the military, gaining the rank of Sergeant in N.Z.'s Territorial Army.
