This tutorial will tell you how to change the start pokemon in pokemon red/blue

Download the hex list of pokemon from http://www.f71.cjb.net/docs

For Charmander,
The Address you need to change are
1D10E , 1D126 AND 24BA3.
In these address, you will see the value "bo" which simply represents Charmander.
Therefore juz change this value to whatever value that represents the Pokemon you wanted to change to.


For Squirtle,
The Address you need to change are
1D104, 1D11F AND 24BA5.
In these address, you will see the value "b1" which again represents Squirtle.
Therefore, you should again change the values in these address to whatever you wish to have.

For Bulbasaur,
The Address you need to change are
1D115, 1D130 AND 24BA8.
Similar to the 2 other cases, you can find a value in these 3 address, which represent Bulbasaur. The value is "99".
Well, do the same process as the above two and you are done.
