| Our Story |
| Aaron and I met at our home church in 1991. We became good friends soon after in 1992 while attending highschool together. Aaron was a senior and I was a freshman. After he graduated he continued to attend our church and we continued to chat (or should I say debate! lol). We would sit in my driveway for hours on end debating theological issues. |
| Eventually we started "dating" in 1994. We both made committments to each other and God to wait until our wedding day and to always put God before each other. While many found it odd that we could actually feel this way about God, we still do. God has given us so much and He's the one who brought us together. We wouldn't even have each other if it wasn't for Him. We owe Him everything. |
| Aaron proposed the fall after I graduated from highschool in 1996. We had planned to get married after we graduated from college about four years later. So we moved to Phoenix and went to Arizona Bible College for 2 years, but the school administration was not acting in a Christ-like manner and God closed the school's doors in 1998. So we transfered to Southwestern Bible College. While SWC wasnt as intimate as ABC (because of its size) it was a great school. |
| After the fall of ABC, Aaron and I decided not to wait until after we finished school :-) So we got married that year on Dec. 27, 1998. The wedding was beautiful and so was the honeymoon. We went to Florida and spent our 2 weeks hopping back and forth between Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Seaworld, and the beach. We had a blast! |
| Since then our marriage has thrived and we love each other more everyday. Of course there is the occasional disagreement (or should I say frequent disagreements LOL) but they help us grow stronger in our relationship. We wouldn't be able to get thru the disagreements on our own we owe it all to God. He's been there every step of the way, and He will continue to be with us for the rest of our lives! |
