We have never forsaken our colors.

The Full Moon Mess was formed in November 2001 at Fort Branch, when a handful of comrades decided that the best way to represent accurately the life of the soldiers who fought for the Confederacy is to strive to continually imporve one's impression and attitude. The Full Moon Mess attempts to number of true authentic events and living histories during the year.

Our primary impression is of the North Carolina soldier, and to portray properly during all time periods (early, middle and late) of the war. We have an Federal impression if the need for gelvanized troops.

While the mess works together to research the soldiers life during the war pass on any information found to help in our impression. One of our main goals is to help educate the public of the 19th century life of the North Carolina Confedrate soldier so they can truly understand him in their 21st century.Feel free to drop us a line to inquire about joining or just to say hey.
