Jerry Lynn defeats Chris Jericho on what was rated the match of the night - Why? Because of one man. Because of Jerry Lynn. Last week removed any doubt in the critics head's about his ability. Not only did he hang with the so-called best, he managed to overcome the odd's and defeat it. Jerry's claims of being the Greatest Professional Wrestler continue to be spoken louder, louder and louder, with the X-Division Championship as proof. It's only time that seperates Jerry from becoming the World Championship Wrestling Heavyweight champion. Nothing more. There's not a single solitary soul that can stand in his way. Chris Jericho couldn't, Chris Sabin WON'T ; what could possibly make you think otherwise? Here you have a man who puts in 110% week in week out, injury or no injury. Can you honestly think of ONE reason that Jerry Lynn would be afraid of the WCW, lettalone Chris Sabin? This week on Nitro, Lynn will defend his X-Division Champion against Chris Sabin, a man who barely made a name for himself in NWA-TNA. This monday night, when Sabin steps into the ring with a great, the question is not WILL Jerry win ; The question is How much PAIN will Sabin be in after the Cradle Piledriver?

SCENE - World Championship Wrestling camera's fade up in the backstage area of a House Show, where Jerry Lynn is sitting on top of a large metal 'box' of some sort. Lynn has the X-Division Title over his right shoulder as he looks directly into the camera with a focused facial expression.

Jerry Lynn: I told you that you'd see the face of The New F'N Show one more time before you are literally smashed into milions and millions of pieces. Are you worried yet, Chris? Are you scared that you might not ever be able to look into another mirror again with a smile across your face? Saying your career is in jeoporady would be an under statement. (Lynn Grins) There is absolutely NO doubt about it, Sbain.. Your career is ticking down to it's destruction as each second passes by. Every minute, Every hour, Every DAY.. We draw closer, and closer, and closer. Time is running out kid, we are merely hours away from The New F'N Show putting you out of COMMISION! To you, you might believe you are going to capture my X-Division Title, which is fair enough kid. You've gotta have SOME confidence going into a match with a Championship on the line, but sadly what you have failed to realise is that you are facing Jerry Lynn ; Not just the NEW F'n Show.. but the ONLY F'N Show! I'm not some kid from around for the corner, Sabin. I'm a workhorse. I'm a warrior.. I'm simply a damn champion.

Jerry chuckles, and by the sound of the chuckle, His confidence appears to be sky high.

Jerry Lynn: For years upon years Chris, several morons decided to under-estimate The New F'N Show. They took it upon themselves that they would dispose of Jerry Lynn within a blink of an eye. Time and time again, I proved them bastards wrong. I MADE them believe that I truely am the ONLY F'N Show in this industry.. and you know what, Sabin? Your just the next "talkin' trash" rookie who is gonna be taught more then one thing in that ring tonight. Your gonna crash and burn kid, Like it or not, Your career is in MY hands. There's only ONE thing that is required of you and that's to show up on the night. I'll take EVERYTHING from there, kid. See, ya' give The New F'N Show an inch and I'll take a MILE! I am THE-E opportuniest, Chris. I know when tot ake them and when NOT to take them. Although you're probably sittin' back in a fancy chair, thinkin' I ain't shit on a stick to you, Your gonna be just another fuckin' statistic that was soundly beaten. Tonight, On Nitro, forget that you even have the CHANCE to win my Title. Forget about it, get that thought right out of your head because I'm telling you RIGHT now kid, You haven't got a fucking prayer! Think of it as I am your teacher, and you being the student. No matter WHAT you come up with the teacher will always hold the correct answer. In this case, It's no different. You might manage to pull a trick out of the hat but the thing is, when that bell rings at the end of the match there will only be ONE man left standing in the ring. That man will be The New F'N Show, and not another fuckin' soul. You might of been in NWA-TNA and you might of gained a few diehard wrestling fans, but when it's time to kick your ass I WON'T hesitate .. I WON'T back out .. I'll step up to the plate and I'll make sure your face is NEVER seen on the premises of professional wrestling EVER.. again!

Jerry Lynn: Sabin, you're just another kid waitin' for his bed time story.. Tonight, on Nitro, It's your last story. It's one that you will be able to tell your aunts, your uncles and your cousins, because TONIGHT, Kid.. I'm going to put you out of your fucking misery PERMANENTLY!
