Leyland National single decker. Built in huge quantities for operators all over
the country between 1972, and 1985.
437 Mark I models
delivered to London Transport, between 1973, and 1980, 69 mark II delivered in
1981
Last Mk I
withdrawn in 1999. 41 of the Mk II where refurbished in 1995, and remain in use
on central London Red Arrow routes.
Fulwell’s
association with the type lasted just over a year.
