Under 18? Please have your parents contact Mus. Sorry, but we cannot place animals with minors without parent's permission.

Where are you located? Please keep in mind delivery isn't usually possible outside of the nearby Maryland, Delaware, or Pennsylvania areas. One option is to meet the animals at one of the RMFE or TRC events. Shipping or transport might be an option, but be aware that this is usually a bit costly.

When you see the rat or mouse you're interested in, contact Mus. If this is your first Mus mouse or rat, you may be asked some questions. We screen people because we want to be sure our rat/mouse is the best match for you.

After adoption, we will always be happy to give you help and support whenever possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!

Once you adopt, please keep in touch with Mus. It's very important to us to know how the animal is doing. This also lets us track the overall health of the lines, which is important because it allows us to improve the animals long-term.

If at some point in time you can no longer keep your Mus rat or mouse for whatever reason, please let us know. He or she will always have a home here!
