| Thank you for visiting our page. This is just about how we met and other things about us. The song playing was the song played at our wedding....I guess you could say it is "Our Song". | We met thru a friend of mine on Dec.29,1992. I was not looking for anyone at the time because of a recent breakup and my friend encouraged me to go ahead and go out at least as friends..so I did and I was really impressed by his looks and personality, not to mention he drove my favorite car..lol. I guess he was pretty impressed himself because on Feb.9,1994 he proposed to me and of course I said "YES" because we now are married and have a beautiful daughter together "Megan LeighAnn" . We will be celebrating our 7 year anniversary this August 3rd. |
| We have most definately had our bad days and we are sure we will have plenty more. Thru the grace of our Lord we are still together. Our advice to anyone having trouble with their marriage is to turn to the only one person you can truly count on and that is our Lord Jesus Christ who has led us out of some terrible situations to where we almost ended our marriage. Also you have to put in 50/50 to make it work. Show each other you care, not only by saying "I Love You" but by showing it, hold each other, laugh together, and remember just because you are married and have kids does not mean you can't still go out on dates with each other...get a babysitter!!!!! And in our situation...don't ever let ex-wives or ex-husbands get in the way...what's in the past is in the past so leave it there and don't believe everything their ex tells you because in most situations it's not true..they just realize they had a good thing and let it slip thru their fingers. And also with step-children...you HAVE to love them and treat them as your own or it will never work..I know by experience it isn't always easy, but in the long run it is worth the effort and all the hardships. If you need any advice from us just email us. Remember you ARE NOT alone. And one more thing......chatting in chat programs unfaithfully is not the answer...it only makes things worse. |
