Barrabas
Good funk / disco group of the 1970's (and originally a Spanish rock band) who
recorded the original of Herbie
Mann's "Hijack". "Desperately" (from LP "Watch
out") was a funky dancefloor hit in 1976. Listen also for
"Checkmate". "Mellow blow" was the first 12" single
ever pressed on the Atlantic label. "Mad love" was also released as a
long version on 7" 33rpm and is the first Atlantic DSKO series record.
