B.C.G.
Bob Crewe Generation
Famous for his 1960's hit "Music to watch girls by", Bob Crewe (who
also worked with Disco
Tex produced the band B.C.G. who initially signed to the 20th Century label
in 1976. Here they released the single "Street talk" which became a
local disco classic for the hustlers. Moving to Elektra for the album, another
promo-only 12" was pulled - "Menage a trois" - which was the
first 12" on the Elektra label (dated 1976 but actually pressed in 1977).
