Donna McGhee
Produced by New York disco producer Greg Carmichael (Universal Robot Band),
Donna McGhee was a female vocalist with a very distinctive voice. The unusual
melody and chord progression of the disco track "Mr. Blindman" also
appealed to soul fans in the late 1970's, and was only available on 12" in
the UK on Anchor records (a sub-label of ABC).
