Gloria Gaynor

Everyone likes her... her version of "Never can say goodbye" was extremely popular with early disco fans. From this album, also listen for "Searching" and "Honey bee". "How high the moon" is a carbon-copy of "Never can say..."; "Reach out (I'll be there)" is a good version of the Four Tops original, however. "I will survive" is the archetypal disco song - and it's actually quite good. But critics think the other track from this album, "Anybody wanna party?", is a technically superior song, and more sophisticated disco.
