Heatwave

The brainchild of Londoner Rod Temperton, who wrote most of the hits for this British disco group.

Biggest and best known hit was "Boogie Nights", great bassline and became theme for the disco music of the 1970's. Also listen for "Too hot to handle", "The Groove Line" from the late 1970's. Band continued recording in a disco style well into the 1980's - try "Gangsters of the groove" and "Jitterbuggin'". All their disco hits are certified to have your platforms stomping...

Rod Temperaton also wrote several tracks for Michael Jackson's "Off the wall" album.

Heatwave's tracks were originally released in the UK on the GTO label; in the US they were distributed by Epic.
