Hubert Laws

One of the CTI labels forefront artists, a flautist who dabbled in jazz fusion. "The Chicago Theme" is stereotypical 1970's music. It could easily be incidental music in Wonderwoman, Towering Inferno, S.W.A.T., or even the Mary Tyler Moore show. It's a great flute track with wah-wah guitar, etc. etc... Hubert also worked with several other CTI artists, including Bob James and David Matthews. The Chicago Theme LP also contains "Midnight at the oasis", a cover version of the track also recorded by Pleasure.
