Hues Corporation

Soul group, especially popular in the UK, recorded one of the "first" charting disco songs in 1974, "Rock the boat" (from LP above); covered in the 1980's by Forrest. The word "Rock" was used in the title apparently to sell "black" music to a "white" audience. Other early disco-soul recordings included "Rockin' Soul" and "Love coporation".

"I caught your act" was the first commercial 12" on Warner Brothers.
