Judy Cheeks
Latin-flavoured disco artist who recorded on the Salsoul label in New York in
the late 1970's. First hit was "Mellow lovin'", commercially issued as
a 12", but also given to DJ's only as a white-label promo mixed by Tom
Moulton (and mastered by Jose Rodriguez). (The commercial 12" was not mixed
by Tom). Judy later moved to the Salsoul sub-label "Dream" for a more
minor disco hit. "Don't wanna love you again" is co-written by Thor
Baldursson (of Gaz)
and mixed by Juergen Koppers.
