Lax

At the tail-end of the 1970's this Prelude disco group recorded a debut single "Dancin' at the disco" which became popular in New York discos, so an album was put together. Produced and written by Ralph Benatar, the album includes hot disco tracks "Saturday night - something special" and "Woman ad lib". The album was also released promotionally as a "For Disco DJ's Only" double-pack containing 2x12" records. It was mixed by DJ Galen Senogles.

The group returned the following year for boogie classic "All my love" - the title track of their second album, which also includes "Possessed". In the UK, LAX's hits were released on the Pye label.
