Famous charting single was "Le Spank" - from their second album, it's a mid-tempo silly disco stomper, similar to the Barry White track "It's ecstasy when you lay down next to me". Listen for the 12" cut. Second album also includes "Mouette" and "Monkey see, monkey do".
Their Debut album was the most funky and includes the tracks "Get your boom boom (around the room)" (great 12" mix), the cheesy "Gimmie what you got" and "Gitcha down". A later album, "Sweet magic (do you have any)" reveals a more crisp brand of funk - songs like "Slowdown" (a cover of the John Miles song), "Do you have any" and "I can't hide it" are little known wah-wah guitar disco classics.
From their final album of the 1970's, listen for "Planet of love", "You can get off on the music" and "Backstreet city lights" (especially the introduction).
The Jones Girls became well known singing vocals for Le Pamplemousse, before signing to the Philadelphia label in 1979.
