Lorraine Johnson

"Feed the flame" was the excellent single from her Prelude album "Learning to Dance All Over Again" - listen to the bassline. The title track is also brilliant... true to the Prelude form, all four songs on the album are long disco cuts. Produced by Jesse Boyce and Moses Dillard of the Saturday Night Band (for whom Lorraine sang backing vocals). Previously to this album, Lorraine covered the Teddy Pendergrass Philadelphia classic "The more I get, the more I want" - this is available on 12" as the B-side of Bill Brandon's "We fell in love while dancing".

The more I get, the more I want (Prelude 12" PRL-D 152, 1977) - b-side of Bill Brandon Feed the flame (Prelude 12" PRL D 156, 1978) - one-sided record
