Magic Disco Machine
Magic disco group on the Motown label from 1975 featured many writers, including
Jesse Boyce (of the Saturday Night Band) and Freddie Perrin (of "I will
survive" fame). The whole of their first album is a great funky disco
extravaganza, all the tracks are well worth listening (and dancing) to - try
"Control tower", "Window shopping", "Scratchin'",
"Tryin' to get over" and "Love pains". From their second
album, try "Bend a little", "Get cute" and the slower
"Midnight rhapsody" (also an early promo-only Motown 12").
