Pattie Brooks

Another female disco artist, like Donna Summer, who made the Casablanca label what it was. Pattie was best known for her recording "After dark" which featured on the soundtrack to the film "Thank God it's Friday". Other tracks worth listening to are "Let's make love to the music" from her LP "Love shook" and "Come fly with me / Let's do it again" from "Our Ms. Brooks". These two LP's were produced under the guidance of European producer Simon Soussan (Arpeggio).

In 1979 Pattie worked with disco producer John Davis for disco classic "Got tu go disco", which was the title theme for a very unsuccessful Broadway show. However critics agree this is her best disco track.
