Paul Jabara

Disco producer of the late 1970's also worked with Donna Summer. Paul was originally signed to the A&M label, but moved to Casablanca in 1977.

"Dance (part I)" was heard in the film "Mothers, Jugs & Speed" - it's a veritable disco classic, getting anyone to dance. "Disco Queen", originally the b-side to the 7" of "Saturday Matinee", was featured in the soundtrack to "Thank God it's Friday". Paul acted in this film and famously got locked in a stariwell for over half of the film.

From Keeping Time, listen for "Dancin' (lifts your spirits higher)", an obvious take-off of his earlier release "Dance". Another good disco track is "Pleasure Island".

His "Disco wedding / Disco divorce" suite on the Third Album is truly ridiculous.

"Never loose your sense of humor" includes the vocals of Donna Summer.
