Peaches & Herb

Already popular in the late 1960's for soul recordings, group had faded to obscurity by the early 1970's. Late 1970's lineup had a replacement "Peaches" and new producer Van McCoy. First LP of this new era included McCoy-styled disco tracks "I'm counting on you" and "We've got a lot to be thankful for".

Next LP produced full length version of international disco smash "Shake your groove thing" along with wah-wah guitar laden classics such as "All your love" and "Love it up tonight". Subsequent albums included tracks like "Gettin' down, gettin' down", "Fun time" and "Roller skatin' mate". However the duo will be best remembered amongst soul fans for "Reunited".
