Right. Let me warn you now, this story can be completely insane. It is... well, you can't really put it in a genre, it's like Head, the Monkees' movie, it's a mixture of all genres. Four of the main characters are based on the four of us: Ianthe is Daffodil, Elisay is Zinnia, Daphne is Laurel, and Naomi is Ananda. Four of the characters are based on the Monkees (say names out loud, you'll figure it out *g*). As for the rest, some are based on real people, some are not. Oftentimes, characters' actions and/or thoughts, and/or events, will reflect our own lives, but not always. This story is often an outlet for our daydreams (and sometimes nightmares). It's full of our own inside jokes, some of which we may attempt to explain, others...well, just don't worry too much about understanding everything in here, especially if you don't really know us.
It was started, what, in 1998, I believe? [No, it was at least '99, because that's when you started being in our journals and stuff. It might even be early 2000. -Laurel] [Whatever.] So it's been awhile. Quality of writing does get progressively better, as we got older and better at writing. We did consider going back and editing the older parts, but decided against it, in favour of authenticity.
Rating? Ehm... it's rated G for quite awhile... then a bit PG... ehmmm... *wondering about own Ráspia & Reűic chapter, as well as upcoming plans for next chapter* PG-13? Yeah. There is a key at the top of the first page, I may put it on some of the rest, for who writes what - it's all colour-coded. Come to think of it, I think everything in this site is. (The colours our names are in on the main page intro blurbs are our colours.)
Chapter notes are on the way, as is the Applebus soundtrack (we quote sooo many songs in this thing, and some scenes just *need* music). As for an ending... don't hold yer breath, we enjoy writing this too much to stop. :)
