Chapter Twenty Notes

Ananda: I apologise for the amount of swearing in Blake's test, but I wanted to make Dirand as much the opposite of Blake as possible.. and Blake does *not* swear. So it's all in the name of character development. "There is no such thing as a moral an an immoral book. Books are well-written, or badly written. That is all." -Oscar Wilde
I got Blake's character down frighteningly well in this... after having written most of it, and then talking to the real "Blake"...he's said some of the same things, almost word-for-word...scary...
I absolutely love Dir's outift, tho, I really do.. ;) Actually, I like how this test ended up working out..I'd *so* like to see the real "Blake" put in a situation like this, it'd be great..! *eg*
An' Laurel, yer (final) last name for Blake.. still so awesome, I love it! *g* Mullen, Mullings, yeah, too perfect....
...as for their arguments...originally, there was a different one in there.. Shortly after 9-11, tho, Laur was reading through what I'd had so far, and she asked about it...and I decided to change it. For the original bit, which's just between Dir's "Rock is sex!" speech and them deciding they both hate the outdoors, click here.. (Not much, but just in case anyone's interested..)
